MICROBLADING

Microblading is a form of tattooing

Unlike a regular tattoo, “microblading is a form of tattoo artistry where pigment is implanted under your skin with a manual handheld tool instead of a machine, Even though it’s not as deep as the regular tattoo, it’s still a tattoo because pigment is implanted under the skin.”

You need to prepare

If you drink a lot, take aspirin, or use retinol, stop one week before your treatment. “Retinol makes your skin thin and then you bleed a little more,” “Avoid blood thinners, aspirin, and alcohol.”

It doesn’t hurt (too much)

Pain is relative. “Some feel more than others. Overall it feels like little scratches. You feel it, but it’s not unbearable.  we use topical numbing cream and tops up throughout the process to dull the discomfort.

Aftercare is essential

That means protecting freshly bladed brows from all moisture–no sweaty workouts or washing your face with water. Some patients experience itching and redness during the first week, which Vaseline can alleviate. Brows will look slightly darker at first, but the color will fade 30 to 40 percent. Aftercare ointments are provided during your first appointment.  “Slight redness and mild swelling is normal.”

Results last up to three years

Depending on the skin and lifestyle, you can come back for touch-ups once every six months.

WHAT
MICROBLADING
CAN AND CANT DO

The doctor takes a little blood which is then treated in a centrifuge so that only the enriched cells or platelets (PRP) remain. The PRP or highly concentrated Platelet Rich Plasma, including essential growth proteins, is injected into the scalp or areas to be treated using a special micro needle. It is possible to use PRP Hair Loss Therapy alone to promote hair growth or it can also be used in combination with hair transplant or restoration surgery. Does it hurt? In the past some patients experienced PRP Hair Loss Therapy as uncomfortable and sometimes painful when carried out under topical anesthetic. If you wish, the procedure can be carried out under intravenous sleep sedation or general anesthetic. You will be fully asleep and will not notice the injections.

THE PROCEDURE

 Microblading Isn’t Painful

Since microblading is performed by scratching the surface of the skin, we begin the procedure by applying a local anesthetic to the treatment area. Consequently, patients are able to enjoy a pain-free microblading experience.

Microblading patients often describe the physical sensation of the procedure as being “unique,” but not at all painful. Additionally, somewhat surprising ly to patients – the microblading process can cause patients to sneeze during the procedure. This results from the pressure being applied to the facial nerves and, while surprising, is a perfectly normal reaction to the microblading treatment.
